Meet The Team

Rachel Fearnley and Lucy Foster-Perkins

Co-owners of The Pineapple House Bali

Rachel and Lucy met when Rachel (Pineapple House founder) first opened The Pineapple House Bali in 2015. After years of working on racing boats and teaching yoga at surf and yoga retreats Rachel decided that it was time that she created a place where she could offer her guests a slice of her life here in Bali.

Lucy was The Pineapple House first guests. She too had been teaching yoga at surf and yoga retreats (Lucy and Rachel had even taught at the same company in India and Sri Lanka but at different years) and found herself being called to Bali. She booked in to stay at The Pineapple House and stayed for 6 weeks, where she lived with Rachel.

Lucy and Rachel realised they were soul sisters from the start.  They connected through their love for yoga, surfing, living in Bali, spending time in nature and carving out a life of whole-hearted living.

In 2019, after Rachel had launched her second business (www.rachelfearnley.com) and had her beautiful baby girl Yemaja, she realised that it was time to share The Pineapple House with someone who truly aligned with her vision and values to grow and build The Pineapple House's offerings and retreats.

Lucy had been living in Australia for 2 years, but returned to Bali after the breakup of her (then) boyfriend and was delighted to join the dream team!

Together they have expanded to include retreats outside of Indonesia, as well as a 50 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training which they offer 4 times a year with The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School.

Rachel and Lucy's vision is to create a space for their guests and students  to deeply rest, reflect, explore, find inspiration and the courage to live the life they truly want to live.
